Elderly Couple Busted With Weed Says It Was Xmas Gifts
A couple transporting a unique Christmas gift was detained for it.
80-year-old Patrick Jiron and his 83-year-old wife Barbara were heading to Vermont from Nebraska to deliver their marijuana gifts when a cop pulled them over for failing to use a turn signal.
Of course, the officers smell the pot and found it in boxes in their truck topper. 60 pounds of it! The street value is over 336-thousand bucks so they’ve been charged with felony suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and no drug tax stamp.
But they were presents! No word on if the boxes were wrapped.
