The man who led the Pentagon's UFO research program believes there's evidence of aliens coming to Earth.
Luis Elizondo said Monday on CNN's "Erin Burnett OutFront" his personal belief is that there is very compelling evidence that we may not be alone.
"The New York Times" and Politico reported over the weekend that the Pentagon's Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program began in 2007.
Elizondo told "The Times" he resigned in October to protest what he called excessive secrecy about the program and internal opposition after funding ended in 2012. He said Monday there's evidence that stops him from ruling out the possibility that alien spacecraft have visited Earth.
