In 1990, Tobin Anderson, a Truro, Iowa native, earned Iowa Boys Basketball All-State Status at Interstate 35 High School. His Dad was a long time coach there and now his family and Iowa friends are celebrating his success in his first season as head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights, who played their way into the 2023 NCAA Basketball Tournament with a win over Texas Southern on March 15th. Tobin is a celebrated east coast conference coach, winning Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Coach of the Year honors five times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022) and a Three-Time East Coast Conference Coach of the Year (2015, 2016, 2021). Tobin's energetic coaching style is fun to watch and we'll be following his success. Listen to Max & Amy's conversation with Coach Anderson, the morning after the Knight's big win to earn the chance to face Purdue in the East bracket, scheduled for 3/17.
