A shipment of Kit Kats went missing this week. Nestlé says about 12 tons, roughly 413,793 bars, disappeared after leaving a production site in Italy headed for Poland. The truck and its load have not been found. The bars were meant for stores across Europe.
Cargo theft like this has been rising, and food is a common target because it moves fast and sells easily. It is a wild story, especially with Easter candy still on a lot of lists.
