I love a good hero story, especially when it has four legs and a wagging tail.
Last month in Louisville, a 3‑year‑old went missing. A neighbor’s dog started barking and would not quit. Officers arrived, and the pup basically said, follow me. The bodycam picks it up from there, and the walk-and-bark tour goes straight to the child.
The best part, the kid is safe. The moment you see the officers round the corner, you can feel the relief.
I watched the clip, and I am not ashamed to admit I said “good dog” out loud. If your dog has ever alerted you to something important, you know that sound. It is different. It means, come here now.
