đ§ We all know we should use strong passwords, but let's be real â most of us don't. đ A new report from anyIP reveals that our passwords are easier to hack than we think! đ±
To create this list, anyIP used NordPass's list of the 200 worst passwords worldwide and analyzed how often these passwords were used in hacking attempts. Spoiler alert: "password" is the most commonly used password globally, making it the easiest to hack. đ„Ž
But here in the U.S., the most hackable password is "secret," which can be cracked in less than a second! đŹ
"Hackers are getting super sophisticated and can breach accounts in seconds. Using weak passwords is like leaving your front door wide open," says anyIP co-founder Khaled Bentoumi. đȘđ
So, what are the top 10 most hackable passwords in the U.S.? Here they are:
- secret
- 123456
- password
- qwerty123
- qwerty1
- 123456789
- password1
- 12345678
- 12345

Time to update those passwords, folks! đĄïžđ
