Kristin Davis was ghosted by an out-of-work actor to whom she lent $5,000 in the '90s, and he still hasn't payed her back.

The Sex and The City star detailed the "horrible mistake" on the latest episode of her podcast, Are You A Charlotte? with guest Sarah Wynter.

"I did one time date this out-of-work actor. I think this was before Sex and The City...He's now very successful."

Davis continued, revealing that the actor was struggling to keep his lights on while she was going out with him, so she offered financial assistance.

"He was very talented, but, at the time, I had money because I'd been working, and I was at his house and he had all of these, like, 'your electricity's gonna be turned off,' like all those notices that you get when ... you can't pay your bills. They were all just all over his house, right? And I was like, uh, you know, what's happening? And then, I think, he wrecked his motorcycle, which is like how he got around town to his auditions. And I was like, you know, 'Can I lend you some money?'"

The unnamed actor did not shut Davis out immediately, but slowly stopped calling her before ending communication altogether.

"It changed the dynamic in a horrible way, and it was a kind of a casual thing, right? But I probably should have known better. You know what I’m saying? But I just felt like, I can help, I should help this guy. He's so talented — which he is. I lend him money. I think it was all of $5,000. So I lent him this money and then, you know, he stops calling. So I’m like, 'What the heck?'"

By the time the Couples Retreat actress decided to confront him at his apartment, he was gone.

"I remember going over to his apartment and banging on the door. And his dog was in there, and I loved his dog, and I could hear his dog. But I was like, 'Is he in there and pretending that he is not in there?'"

Davis mentioned that the actor currently lives with his family in the country, and that he's never acknowledged taking her money and ghosting her.

"I just would love some acknowledgment or whatever, which is kind of a fantasy."
