Drew Barrymore revealed the sweet nickname she has for one of her famous costars.
On the Tuesday (January 21) episode of her talk show The Drew Barrymore Show, the 50 First Dates star welcomed Ben Stiller to promote the second season of his Apple TV+ series Severance and reminisce about their time filming the 2003 dark comedy Duplex, per People. During their chat, Barrymore revealed the nickname she gave Stiller over 20 years go.
"And this is Benjamin Rabbit's first time [on the show]," she said, repeating the adorable moniker while making bunny ears with her hands. "And we did this film together that I love. I still — I quote that film every day."
When Severance star Adam Scott asked for clarity about the nickname, they confirmed that it originated from the film.
The love appears to go both ways as Stiller heaped praise on Barrymore and explained why every actor should want to work with her as he had "the best time working" with the Scream actress.
"I would recommend anybody who ever has a chance to do a movie with Drew Barrymore do it because it's literally — it's the best experience," he said, adding, "I mean you are who you are in real life. This beautiful positivity that you put out into the world is who you are and working on a set with you was just so much fun and you brought — because I'm not always so positive and you lifted me up and I really just enjoyed it."
