With the threat of a government shutdown looking, Iowa Congressman, Zach Nunn, joined Max & Amy to discuss his efforts to support appropriations and a possible continuing resolution to fund government, at least temporarily, and avoid an imminent government shutdown. Congressman Nunn also talks about bills he has helped introduce that would continue to pay our troops in the event of a shutdown, to support border security via budget appropriations, and to put people ahead of politics when it comes to congressional budget negotiations and how some politicians use budget debate chaos as a fundraising tool.
