Below is a picture of our kitchen "before" the project. The 90's style arches scream "so 25 years ago!" but being a little outdated isn't what bothered us. The paint job looks fine in the picture, but up close it's a mess. We had to remove paint from every appliance when we moved into our home. You can almost hear who was painting say "This isn't going to show up in real estate photos so what the heck, leave it". And the paint itself was a little gummy, and made every surface extremely hard to wipe down and keep clean. Oh, and I can't forget the cabinet that wouldn't shut, and the drawer that broke off in my hand one day.
Now, our kitchen during, and after! We have all new cabinet faces, new drawers that aren't broken, a new lazy susan and pull out trash! The lower cabinets are a soft gray that matches the streaks in the quartz counter top we were able to keep, and the uppers are white. Everything has a new, soft close.
