The Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett tour has been in the making for YEARS, thanks to the pandemic. There's people out there in central Iowa that bought tickets in 2019 (!!!) and now that the tour is finally happening this summer, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has broken four ribs and can't play a full setlist.
During the first show he played five songs before leaving the stage, and on June 16 he managed to play three songs before turning over the drums to stand-in Tommy Clufetos. At both concerts, Lee returned to play piano on Crue’s ballad “Home Sweet Home.”
Here, you can watch the full stadium show in Miami, and hear Tommy Lee break the news to the crowd, and lets them know he's "gonna f***ing pop in and out as much as I can.” So we've got that, Bus riders.
