My "Why" For Campaigning
My Aunt Jo was always one of the most beautiful women I'd ever known. She had long, beautiful hair, carried herself with such confidence, and had the silky smooth voice of the singer she was in her youth. She was a mom, an aunt, a sister, a grandma, a writer, a real estate agent, a free spirit who loved to walk the beaches of ritzy East Hampton, New York with her two mutts she rescued from Mystic, Iowa. And she left us way too soon because of multiple myeloma, which led to pancreatic cancer. I miss her.
You probably miss someone too, or you're fighting a battle with cancer, or someone you love is battling cancer. With research, we will eventually find a cure for this disease that touches so many of our lives. Thanks so much for helping me fight blood cancers, and fund the research that will help find a cure for ALL cancers.
