Apple released iOS 14 to the public earlier this week. That means a ton of new features. According toFox 59, one of those new features is confusing a lot of iPhone users.
A new security feature included will display an orange dot at the top of your iPhone when an app is actively using your microphone. A green dot means an app is using your camera. Apple describes the feature in a press release as follows:
“An indicator appears at the top of your screen whenever an app is using your microphone or camera. And in Control Center, you can see if an app has used them recently.”
The new operating system includes all kinds of other cool new features including Pinned Text Conversations, Back Tap, and Picture In Picture. Check out some of the highlights in the Wall Street Journal video below.
