Jason Nash is a crane operator in Nashville who was trapped high up in the crane when the Nashville tornado blew through. He said they had two minutes warning, but it takes 15 minutes to climb down. So basically, yeah he had to sit it out from a precarious perch.
Another person on Facebook took video of the same tornado just at the moment it passed by Jason's crane (in the center of the shot).
