For some people, the New Year may bring a new place to live, and based on results of a new report, where a lot of people may be moving to may surprise you.
According to United Van Lines' "43rd Annual National Movers Study:”
Idaho is the state where most people moved to in 2019, with 67.4% of moves to the state being inbound.
Oregon is the second with 65.7%, followed by Arizona with 63.2.4%.
Florida joins the Top Ten list of inbound moves for the first time since 2015 at seven.
Maine and Oklahoma are among the most “balanced states,” with the same number of residents moving in and out.

Meanwhile, on the flip side, for the second year in a row, New Jersey has seen the largest amount of people moving out of the state, with 68.5% of outbound moves. This is the 11th straight year New Jersey has landed in the Top Ten.
