Terminally Ill Scientist Has Transformed Into A Cyborg

Meet 61 year old Dr Peter Scott-Morgan, a terminally-ill British scientist dying from a muscle wasting disease, motor neurone disease. Dr Scott-Morgan says the transition to Peter 2.0 is complete.

He said he wanted to push the boundaries of what science can achieve so decided to extend his life and become fully robotic .

They developed an avatar of his face, removed his larynx and replaced his voice with a computer generated version. He's looking at technology that will let him control computer screens with his eyes alone.

Now after over 3 weeks in intensive care, he is beginning his new life at his home in Torquay, Devon, UK. He says he'll have more continuing updates than Microsoft.
