It's been almost two months since Popeyes sold out of its insanely popular new chicken sandwich. And since then, the big question has been . . . when's it coming back?
Well, according to a writer at Thrillist.com, the answer just might be soon. very soon.
She called Popeyes' corporate offices, which wouldn't really give her any info . . . but when she called individual stores in Brooklyn and Southern California, they both told her it was coming back ASAP. Quote, "Hopefully this week," one of them said.
So . . . yeah. The hot rumor is that it's coming any day now.
Or, at least, sometime before Thanksgiving. When she called a store in Houston, they said, quote, "Sometime next month" . . . and a store in Chicago said, quote, "About two more weeks."
