Dear Weather Channel,
I know naming winter storms became a "thing" a few years ago but why are we, meaning YOU, still doing it? I've never, ever been anywhere in Iowa and heard someone say "Winter Storm ______ is on the way, have you been to the grocery store yet?"
Nice try, Weather Channel....but we're just not picking up what you're (trying) to put down here. This is the Midwest. When it's winter, it snows. We call it "snow", not Harper or any other name you're trying to force feed us.
