There have been many rumors over the years regarding his return-- and these new ones seem to have some teeth.
The reports started surfacing last week on social media via Perry news and fan sites and even in a tweet from the band Toad the Wet Sprocket, which posted a short clip of Perry -- who was reportedly rehearsing next door -- singing with them in their rehearsal studio. In the body they asked, "What do you say when Steve Perry crashes your tour rehearsal and wants to sing?" They then answered their own question in one word: "yes!"
However, neither Perry nor his official Facebook page have commented on this yet, nor does any other confirmation appear to be available at this time.
