This Early Halloween Decoration Attracts 911 Calls, Police

You know a family loves Halloween wen they decorate early…and when they scare the devil out of the neighborhood.

The Lovergine family in Greenville, Tennessee decided to liven things up by putting a body with splayed legs up against the garage door. The head wasn’t included, but lots of blood was.

Naturally, the police department started getting loads of 911 calls reporting a tragic accident or murder. After enough calls, the Green County Sheriff’s Department put this notice on their Facebook page-"ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! For those of you driving on Chuckey Pike in Greene County: THIS IS A HALLOWEEN DECORATION! Do NOT call 911 reporting a dead body. Instead, congratulate the homeowner on a great display."

Joseph Lovergine says that his family always likes to get an early start on their Halloween decorating. But this year, he realized the display may have been too over-the-top when police pounded on his door and he saw several deputies posted outside last week.
