With a 50% divorce rate in America, there are many children out there whose mother and father don't have a great relationship, but there are just as many parents who understand the importance of being civil for the sake of their kids, and Hayley Booth is one of them.
The mother shared a photo of herself and her daughter walking with another woman, who Hayley calls a "bonus mom." Her daughter is holding the hands of both women on her first day of school, but the bonus mom is not a nanny or an aunt - it's her her stepmom.
While many women throw shade at their ex's new partner, Hayley says this of hers, "She is there for her always, she takes care of her, she plays with her, she teaches her life lessons and how she should behave, she gives her hugs and kisses goodnight, she does everything any mother would do."
Her daughter is a pretty lucky girl!
