I do mornings on 106.3 KXNO weekday mornings from 6-8 a.m., and my cohosts Travis, Sean and I obviously talk about sports....after all, it's a sports station. BUT we can be easily distracted, especially during the summer when no one's playing college football around here and we're just having fun. That's how a discussion about NFL player Julio Jones being traded can devolve into a discussion about the Paul SImon song "Me and Julio Down By The School Yard", which led to Simon and Garfunkel...which led to 31 year old Sean Roberts admitting "I've never heard of Simon and Garfield". Travis and I were shocked, yet a lot of listeners backed up Sean that they'd never heard "Julio" either!! What classic songs do YOU think everyone should know?
