How You Celebrate Valentine's Day Reveals A Lot About Your Relationship

There are many different ways to celebrate your love this Valentine’s Day, it all depends on what you and your beloved are up to. But how you choose to spend the holiday says a lot about your relationship.

Having a romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant - According to Elite Daily’s Valentine’s Day survey, 35% of men and 24% of women say this is their ideal date for February 14th. And snagging a table at a trendy restaurant for Valentine’s dinner isn’t easy, it probably requires a reservation months in advance. That’s why the couples who chose to spend the holiday like this are a power couple - they know what they want and make it happen.

Enjoying a relaxing spa day - Not that many people surveyed chose this to do on Valentine’s Day, only 3% of women and 8% of men. But, couples who like doing something different don’t care what everyone else is doing. These partners also know the value of relaxing and unwinding together and they can look forward to a future of happy days and never going to bed angry.

Getting cozy at home with dinner and a movie - While some like to go all out for Valentine’s Day, having a low-key night at home is a popular choice too. In the survey, 43% of women and 27% of guys said this was their ideal night and that says good things about their relationship. Couples who both like just hanging out with each other are totally and completely happy together. And wherever they end up in life, they’ll be fine if they’ve got each other.

Doing an exciting activity together, like karaoke or ice skating - Not that many people surveyed voted for this option, only 9% of women and 4% of men, but the couples who like a fun adventure are the fun couples. And everyone likes hanging out with them. These excitement seekers enjoy the wild side of life with each other and know how to have a good time anywhere.

Going on a fun trip - Some folks like to get away, 14% of women and 22% of fellas surveyed say that’s the best way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. These are the people who live life to the fullest, and don’t do anything halfway. And they probably have an incredible sex life too.

Not celebrating - So this is one of the least popular options in the survey, only 7% of gals and 4% of guys say it’s the best way to spend the holiday. But if both partners agree that they don’t want to actually celebrate this Hallmark holiday, then they share similar values and that makes a good match. Some people need flowers and candlelight dinners to feel the love on February 14, but not these lovebirds. And they don’t care what anyone else thinks about it!
