Dave Grohl joined indie-rock duo the Bird and the Bee during a performance on the Late Late Show with James Corden. The Foo Fighters frontman jumped behind the kit for a cover of the Van Halen classic “Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love.” Watch the performance below.
Grohl actually has a direct tie to the group. Greg Kurstin, co-founder of the Bird and the Bee, produced Foo Fighters’ 2017 album Concrete and Gold. As one of the record industry’s most sought-after producers, Kurstin has also collaborated on releases from Paul McCartney, Devo, Beck and Sia.
