Prince’s Favorite Color Wasn’t Purple
Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson says the singer’s favorite color was orange!
While we all associate Prince with the color purple, believe it or not, that really wasn’t his favorite color. In case you missed it, Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson recently revealed that Prince actually favored a much different color.
She let the news slip during an interview about an upcoming memorabilia auction, noting, “The stand out piece for me is his orange Cloud guitar. It is strange because people always associate the color purple with Prince, but his favorite color was actually orange.”
But despite that fact Prince will always be associated with purple. In fact, as we previously told you, Pantone recently named a shade of purple after him.
