I-270 was closed in both directions because of a Rockville bank robbery, according to NBC Washington.
Police officers were called to the Wells Fargo at 404 King Farm Road on Tuesday morning after 10am.
The suspects fled in a vehicle and were chased onto I-270 southbound.
According to NBC Washington, three suspects are now in custody. The interstate closure was near Tuckerman Lane near the split. Both sides of I-270 are now open.
